Then it took another 4 years of struggle and anxiety before Duy was able to enter the Faculty of Literature, Quang Nam National University of Education. People learn with their eyes, and teachers learn with their ears. At the end of school, Duy returned to Tam Ky to study and integrate into grade 7 with his sister. He joked that "If people have two university degrees, then I have two degrees… primary". Fortunately, in 1992, Nguyen Dinh Chieu Special School in Da Nang was born, the teenager Dang Ngoc Duy, now 16 years old, was accepted to enroll, but had to repeat from grade 1 to grade 5. Knowing that in Ho Chi Minh City there are many places to teach literacy to the blind, Duy wrote an application to study, but was refused because he was too old. But the desire to go to school, to become a normal person prompted him to find himself again. Having lost his light and hand when he was too young, Duy fell into depression and melancholy for a long time. But the war has not yet stopped, explosives have stolen the eyes and half of the left hand of the boy Duy, now more than 10 years old.
